FAQ:

Q: Is there a site rental fee?
Yes. To hold an event at The Astin, our DeLorean Ranch House must be booked for a three night staycation. We are designed for weekend long celebrations! We do not allow any single day uses for our property.

Any guests that join you at your staycastion above and beyond the 8 guest maximum at DeLorean Ranch House will be charged a Day Use Guest fee in the amount of $50 per person. This fee covers the ahead of time vendor selection and planning. It also covers day of event management, exterior security and and interior sanitation and Covid protection for guests.

We prefer small intimate gatherings, so we have intentionally opted to charge a per person per day guest fee to encourage smaller gatherings and save our hosts the cost of a high flat $3000 site fee. If you are planning a larger event we may cap your site fee at a lower flat rate amount to help you stretch your budget. Please contact us directly for further details.

Q: Do you have a guest count minimum?
No.

Q: What if I want to have a non-wedding event?
All types of gatherings are welcome. Our policies and fees are the same for all kinds of events too. We will work with you to accommodate you and your event needs. Please contact us directly for further details.

Q: How late can my reception go?
All dancing music must end by 9:30pm. Back ground music may continue as guests depart. All Day Use Guests must vacate the premises by 10:00pm.

Q: Are tables and chairs a part of my package?
Only some tables are included.

We have 1-72” round, 2-60” rounds and 2- Rectangles patio tables. These tables will accommodate up to 40 guests. Chairs or linens are NOT included.

Q: Are table linens included?
No.

Q: Do you have a dance floor?
No and one is not needed.

Q: Can I have a live band?
Great tunes are essential to your event! However, all Bands and DJs are subject to the county and our noise ordinance. We have decibel maximums that must be adhered to.

Q: What if we only want the ceremony to be held there?
We would be more than happy to help you with any type of occasion.

Q: Can I bring in all my own vendors?
No, we have an approved vendor list to choose from. Although we do sometimes agree to meet with your vendors and if acceptable, we will add them to our approved list and then you can use them.

Q: Can I buy and serve my own alcohol?
No. A licensed bar caterer is required due to the liability for all of us.

Q: Is a bartender included?
You will need to choose one of our bar services from our approved vendor list on our website.

Q: What if I want to host the bar for cocktail hour only?
You can have a cash bar provided by our bar caterer Barworks to do this. We do not recommend this for weddings or social functions. This service is acceptable for fundraisers and retreats.

Q: Can I cook my own food for my event?
If you are only having an event for the registered guests sleeping there for the stay, you may cook and serve those guests of course. If you are using your staycation as an event with Day Use Guests coming, then an accepted catering company needs to be used. We have a private chef and food trucks which make it cost effective and affordable. You will enjoy yourself this way too.

Q: Is there a cake cutting fee?
No.

Q: Do I need to provide a wedding coordinator?
Our team is here to help you with your planning process and an experienced coordinator will be provided to help you with your rehearsal, ceremony and reception.

Q: How far ahead do we need to book our wedding?
As soon as you say, Yes! The sooner you decide on and reserve a date the better.

Q: What if your packages do not include something I want?
We have no set packages! Everything we do is customized individually for you. We offer numerous resources and options that are literally endless…
